Originally an AI-recruiting platform, it pivoted to human-data/RL services and expanded its RL-environment capability through acquisitions, including the February 2026 acquisition of Sepal AI and the July 2026 acquisition of Deeptune, whose computer-use/enterprise environment platform and NYC team joined Mercor.
